DATE PALM
Date trees grow as tall as 21–23 meters (69–75 ft) when grown alone or in clumps with several stems arising from a single root system. The leaves are pinnate, with around 150 leaflets with spines on the petiole, and are 4–6 meters (13–20 feet) long. The leaflets measure 30 cm (12 in) in length and 2 cm (1 in) in width.
